Description:
REPAIR DEVELOPMENT / IMPLEMENTATION ENGINEER
The Repair Development/Implementation Engineer will develop and implement repair solutions for Aero and industrial gas turbine engines. We are seeking individuals with repair development engineering experience ranging from geared turbofan aircraft engines to industrial gas turbine applications. The individual will have the technological expertise, project management skills and innovation to deliver a safe, efficient, and cost-effective repair solution.
TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Strong project management skills.
- Thorough knowledge of aerospace materials and processes.
- Strong planning, organizational, analytical, leadership, interpersonal, decision making, oral and written communication skills.
- In jurisdictions governed by a regulatory body or with an association that is governed by local legal requirements, registration is required.
- University degree in material, metallurgy, mechanical aeronautical, chemical engineering; or equivalent.
- Experience in an aerospace or manufacturing engineering environment preferred.
- Working knowledge of PC’s in the company operating system environment.
Responsibilities:
- Recognize and understand flight/product safety critical parts and processes.
- Immediately report flight/product safety concerns.
- Participate in proactive risk analysis of flight/product safety critical parts and processes.
- Recognize and understand the Just Culture policy.Participates in all phases of the repair product/process development.
