POSITION OVERVIEW
The Qualitative Report Writer is a contract role responsible for analyzing focus group videos and client debriefs to create detailed, insightful reports. The primary objective is to produce 2-3 high-quality reports per month, translating qualitative data into clear, actionable insights for our clients.
This role is ideal for someone with a sharp eye for detail, strong analytical capabilities, and a knack for turning qualitative information into compelling, strategic narratives. If you are passionate about storytelling through data and can communicate complex findings in a way that drives strategic decision-making, we want to hear from you.
Qualifications and Skills
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Market Research, Psychology, Sociology, Communications, or a related field. Advanced degree is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in qualitative research, report writing, or a similar role.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to distill large amounts of qualitative data into key insights.
- Writing Skills: Exceptional writing and storytelling skills with a keen eye for detail and the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and concisely.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficient in using data visualization tools (e.g., PowerPoint, Excel).
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in both written and visual content.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present findings in a professional and engaging manner.
- Time Management: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines

Responsibilities:
- Focus Group Analysis: View and analyze recorded focus group sessions to uncover key themes, insights, and patterns that align with client objectives and research goals.
- Client Debriefs: Interpret and incorporate insights from the client debrief sessions into comprehensive, cohesive reports.
- Report Writing: Develop well-structured, visually engaging reports that clearly communicate qualitative research findings, weaving insights into compelling narratives and actionable recommendations. s.
- Data Synthesis: Convert qualitative information into clear, actionable insights that emphasize consumer behaviors, preferences, and market trends.
- Collaboration: Partner closely with Qualitative Marketing Consultants to ensure alignment on project objectives, findings, deliverables and client expectations.
- Quality Assurance: Maintain high standards of accuracy, clarity and consistency in all reports, ensuring they meet the company’s guidelines for formatting and style.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay current with the latest qualitative research methodologies and reporting practices to enhance the quality and effectiveness of reports.
- Adaptability: Adjust to client needs and evolving project scopes, adapting reporting formats or focus areas as needed to best meet research objectives.
