ABOUT YOU

  • Degree in a technical/analytical discipline
  • Proficient in monitoring and controlling projects using industry best-practice controls methodologies and metrics (such as earned value, schedule analysis, financial performance analysis) and proficient in the use of project reporting tools
  • Knowledge and understanding of capital projects, programmes and portfolio with an emphasis on reporting and benchmarking
  • Knowledge and understanding of Governance principles
  • Proficient in Microsoft products such as Excel, PowerBI Developer and PowerApps · Proficient in coding such a s SQL and DAX ·
  • Experience in understanding and using complex data to provide insights that can help inform decision making. Presenting this information in a clear and concise manner by different mediums such as PowerPoint

Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Reporting Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will leverage your knowledge and expertise in project management and controls methodologies within a capital delivery organization to provide valuable insights for our Strategic Infrastructure (SI) portfolio. Your insights will enable stakeholders to make informed decisions, ensure compliance with performance metrics and regulatory obligations, and ultimately deliver consumer benefit. To deliver these insights, you will create insightful reporting dashboards to bring information together using PowerBI and coding language such as SQL and DAX

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Build and continuously improve insightful portfolio performance reports and dashboards using PowerBI, SQL and DAX
  • Use your experience in industry best-practice project controls methodologies and metrics such as earned value, schedule analysis, financial performance analysis
  • Use your experience and knowledge in Project Management and Project Controls to derive insights from large data sets that help inform decision making
  • Lead on submission of annual, monthly and ad-hoc reports to a wide range of stakeholders up to senior executives
  • Engage with senior leaders and tailoring the information you provide to the audience where you must present the story in clear, concise and confident way
  • Keeping up to date on the latest Project Management and controls methodologies
