Description:
An exciting and challenging opportunity is available for a Reporting Analyst at our Support Centre in Kuilsriver. The successful candidate will be responsible for responsible for delivering accurate capital expenditure data to support Operations Management in making informed decisions and executing strategies effectively. This role reports directly to our Financial Manager: Operations and is pivotal within the Operations Finance team as you play a key role in providing critical information to support management decisions.
If you have 3-4 years of experience working in a commercial role within a retail environment this may be the perfect opportunity for you.
KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:
- Knowledge of integration of Financial Management into the Retail discipline
- Knowledge of relevant reporting systems
- Business and commercial knowledge
- Understanding of cost elements within a retail environment
- Strategy measurement techniques (balance scorecard principles)

EXPERIENCE:
Essential:
- 3 - 4 years’ experience working in a Commercial role within a Retail environment
- 2 – 3 years management experience in finance/accounting
QUALIFICATIONS:
Essential:
- Grade 12 Certificate/Matric
- B.COM Accounting/Honours degree
Preferred:
- A CIMA qualification will be advantageous
Responsibilities:
- Provision of Operations Capital Expenditure Information
- Creation of Capex orders to suppliers for new store installations and payment of invoices
- Analysis of Capex installation costs
- Annual Budgeting and Forecast of capital expenditure
- Evaluation of Reporting Processes
- Other Ad-hoc reporting
