WHAT YOU’LL DO

As a member of the Capital Investment Portfolio Management Office within Infrastructure and Assets division, you will provide analytical and reporting services that contribute to the delivery of enterprise capital project reporting for the Department and Secretariat function for the portfolio Delivery Oversight Committees.
The Reporting Analyst collaborates closely with the Senior Manager PMO Capital Reporting, as well as program and project managers, to gather, analyse, and generate essential reports, dashboards, and metrics to monitor and enhance project performance.
Additionally, the role involves identifying and implementing process improvements for reporting systems, processes, and workflows to align with the broader business and strategic objectives.

The key accountabilities of the role include:

  • Develop, maintain, and distribute regular reports and dashboards for project governance forums that include key performance, financial and risk data typically for infrastructure, maintenance and information technology programs and projects.
  • Collaborating closely with each of the divisions reporting PMO groups to ensure quality and accuracy of project data and trends to identify issues, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Confirm the accuracy and consistency of data entered into project tracking tools and systems (e.g., SmartSheet, Excel, PowerBi, SAP / MY Work Zone) by divisional reporting PMO’s by collaborating with Program and Project managers to validate data and program commentary to ensure that updates are timely and correct.
  • Support the standardization of the departments project reporting templates and ensure adherence to PMO processes and guidelines.

You’ll work as part of a team of professionals that report and support the centralised capital reporting for Infrastructure and Assets division. You’ll have the opportunity to combine working from home and work in a modern office environment at Parramatta.
