Description:
PERMANENT
We are seeking experienced and strategic thinkers to drive Reporting Intelligence initiatives. The successful candidates will drive the development and implementation of advanced reporting and analytics solutions, leveraging visualization and BI tools, AI techniques, and cloud-based environments to deliver actionable insights and data-driven strategies for our insurance clients.
KEY SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Information Systems, or a related field. A relevant professional certification (e.g., CBIP, CAP) is preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in reporting and analytics, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role within the insurance industry or a consultancy.
- Visualization and BI Tools: Proficiency in leading visualization and BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, QlikView, Quicksight or similar.
- AI and GenAI Solutions: Demonstrated experience designing and implementing solutions with AI and GenAI technologies. Advanced knowledge of solutions such as ChatGPT, MS co-pilot, LLaMA etc
- Data Analytics: Strong understanding of data analytics techniques, including data mining, statistical analysis, and ML algorithms, and analytical applications/packages (Dataiku, Python, R, etc.)
- Database Proficiency: Familiarity with database structures and languages (e.g., SQL, NoSQL) particularly as they relate to end user reporting requirements.
- Cloud Environments: Experience working with cloud-based environments such as AWS, Azure, etc.
- Leadership: Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire, motivate, and manage a high-performing team.
- Strategic Thinking: Strong strategic and analytical skills with a track record of developing and implementing successful analytics strategies.
- Stakeholder Management: Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and engage senior executives and key decision-makers.
- Communication: Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

THE ROLE
As a member of this team at XPS you will:
- Develop and implement comprehensive reporting and analytics strategies to support clients’ business objectives.
- Design and deliver advanced visualizations and BI solutions using leading tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Quicksight or similar.
- Ensure the effective use of data analytics, including data mining, statistical analysis, machine learning, NLG, and GenAI to enhance business insights
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and reporting requirements (e.g. IFRS 17, Solvency II, etc.), emerging technologies, and best practices.
- Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the team.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing expert guidance on reporting and analytics strategies.
