DESIRABLE SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Excellent writing & verbal communications skills

  • Familiar with research & reporting tools, and preferably the use of Excel spreadsheets and formulas
  • Ability to quickly grasp key client information including business model and strategy, products and services offered, and understand issues relating to products, technologies, primary competition and general issues facing the industry
  • Flexibility and the ability to think innovatively and creatively
  • Demonstrate a high degree of professionalism and thorough understanding of client/ agency relationships
  • Exceptionally detail-oriented and able to successfully manage multiple, concurrent project demands within established timelines
  • Ability to prioritise and respond to requests in a fast-paced environment
  • Work experience in a corporate communications or sustainability role

Responsibilities:

The role of a Reporting & Sustainability Analyst is three-fold:

  • Research and analysis – You will conduct analysis across activities such as corporate reporting reviews, peer group research, content audits and support on materiality assessments. Working alongside senior consultants and client directors you will use your findings to provide insightful, effective and clearly communicated recommendations for clients. Working alongside other members of the team, you will also conduct desk research to inform our thought leadership publications.
  • Monitoring regulatory and best practice developments – You will act as a knowledge manager, keeping abreast of trends and developments in corporate communications, reporting and sustainability to ensure Emperor remains innovative and a market leader. You will review and collate external publications and industry developments, maintain and update our database of best practice examples and share findings with internal and external audiences.
  • Team and client support - You will support the Stakeholder Communications team and collaborate with wider Emperor teams, including strategists, designers and account managers, to deliver on client projects and pitches for reporting and sustainability projects. This will include supporting on reviewing corporate and sustainability reporting, creating high quality presentations and crafting compelling communications.
