What you would do:

  • Provide business-consulting services to strengthen customer relationships and grow profitable sales
  • Represent Gordon Food Service products and services for assigned territory and accounts, seeking growth opportunities
  • Manage customer business relationships to include accounts receivable, credits, lost business, growth, deployment of resources, and average order size/profitability
  • Coordinate the demonstration and presentation of products and discuss applications, using samples or marketing materials
  • Direct and deliver consultative services such as GPO Maximation, menu engineering
  • Conducts Healthcare Sales Representatives personal results analysis and planning at customer level
  • Identifies competition, customer purchasing patterns, perform customer sales history analysis, and observe and gather data to determine the needs of customer operations
  • Participates in customer events

Does this sound like you?

  • Possess:
  • 3+ years previous sales or business experience including experience/ interest in food business practices and food preparation
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Culinary certification (asset)
  • Bachelor Degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field (asset)
  • Well-developed communication skills both written and verbal
  • Customer interaction using comprehensive communication skills and the ability to express self verbally.
  • Recognized by a strategic thinking, curiosity and sense of creativity and innovation
  • Have demonstrate an attitude toward being goal driven, have good organizational and administration skills with strong attention to detail
  • Love meeting and exceeding sales performance goals and executing good time and territory management.
  • Like to work in a collaborative and dynamic environment
