PRIMARY FUNCTIONS:
As a sales representative, your work is primarily focused on results, actively seeking out and engaging potential customers. You will provide comprehensive and tailored solutions for each client to drive revenue growth, customer acquisition levels, and profitability.
QUALIFICATIONS
- College Degree in Business Administration or relevant experience
- 3 years of experience in a related field
- Bilingual (French and English)
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Suite
- Knowledge of D365 an asset
- Strong communicator
- Organizational skills
- Valid driver’s license/ reliable transport

Responsibilities:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Be familiar with all company policies, costs, costing and equipment.
- Develop and or maintain a relationship with customers and prospects.
- Keep abreast of market changes and competitors.
- Act as liaison between customers and our various department, such as Inside Sales, Credit, Production, Operations, Shipping, Purchasing, etc.…
- Maintain customer and adjust to company and or market conditions.
- Arrange tours and see that the right people at Samuel meet corresponding people at the customer’s facilities.
- Monitor and act on any aged inventory concerns
- Assist inside sales with order entry, quotes and follow up as required
- Conduct regular meetings with customers and inside sales to ensure that all the Samuel Sales’ criteria is reviewed
- Inform customers of all aspects of the Samuel group of companies
- Strive to add value with each transaction we do with our customers
- File reports as required (Monthly forecast, territory updates, lost business, etc.…)
RESPONSABILITÉS PRINCIPALES/KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Connaitre toutes les politiques, les structures de coûts et les équipements de l’entreprise
- Développer et entretenir une bonne relation avec les clients actuels et potentiels
- Être à l’affut de l’évolution du marché ainsi que de la compétition
- Agir comme liaison entre les clients et nos différents départements, tels que les Ventes, le Crédit, la Production, les Achats, etc…
- Maintenir la clientèle et s’adapter aux conditions de l’entreprise et du marché
- Organiser des visites et veiller à ce que les bonnes personnes chez Samuel rencontrent les personnes correspondantes chez les clients
- Surveiller et agir sur tout problèmes d’inventaire âgée
- Apporter le soutien nécessaire aux représentants de ventes internes avec l’entrée de commandes, les soumissions ainsi que les suivis.
- Mener des réunions régulières avec les clients et les ventes internes pour s’assurer que tous les critères de ventes de Samuel sont passés en revue
- Informer les clients de tous les aspects du groupe d’entreprises Samuel ainsi que des possibilités qui s’offrent à eux
- S’efforcer d’ajouter de la valeur à chaque transaction que nous effectuons avec nos clients
- Compléter tous les rapports et fichiers pour les ventes, (prévisions mensuelles, mises à jour de territoire, affaires perdues, etc.)
