JOB SUMMARY
Galapagos Federal Systems LLC is looking for an enthusiastic, well-qualified individual to fill the Requirements Data Analyst position supporting the Requirements Management Corporate Process (RMCP) and to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals.
The position’s primary responsibility is to receive space mission requirements submittals and manage its data along with all RMCP data in multiple SharePoint PowerApps and database systems, develop RMCP SharePoint tools, assist in developing and maintaining RMCP training program and materials, and provide support in planning and managing of STARCOM requirements/acquisition programs to include tracking and management of technical and programmatic risk, requirements management, and day-to-day oversight and management of STARCOM program cost, schedule, and performance.
The purpose of the RMCP is to be a predictable, scalable, and enduring Space Training and Readiness Command (STARCOM) requirements management framework to capture how the command defines, receives, develops, and manages internal and external requirements; validate requirements are traceable to higher-level justification and strategic guidance; and translate validated requirements into prioritized material, non-material, and resourcing decisions that feeds STARCOM’s Program Objective Memorandum (POM)(5 year requirements outlook), Operational Order (OPORD) and Unfunded Requirements (UFR) cycles.
Compensation Minimum: $165,000
Compensation Maximum: $180,000
Job Requirements:
SKILLS / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Active Top-Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility
- Over 15 Years of Expertise in DoD operations, including five years in a TS/SCI environment
- Expert in Initiating and Analyzing Requirements Data for space missions, including managing SharePoint databases
- Extensive Experience in Requirements Management and guiding senior leader decision-making processes
- Strategic and Technical Advisor on requirements, providing expert guidance to program and project teams
- Skilled in Conducting Detailed Analysis and Validation of requirements to ensure alignment with mission objectives
- Strong Understanding of Space Force Concepts and training methodologies
- Develop and Maintain Training Materials for effective requirements submission processes
- Knowledge Management Expert with hands-on experience in practical applications
- Proficient in Using SharePoint PowerApps and PowerBI to manage and analyze programmatic data
- Fluent in Air Force and Space Acquisition Terminology, effectively communicating with stakeholders at all levels
- In-Depth Knowledge of Space Force Mission Areas, particularly for STARCOM RMCP
- Experienced in Consulting with Clients, translating their needs into actionable information for senior leadership
EDUCATION / CERTIFICATIONS
- Master’s degree in a related field (MA/MS/ME)
- Equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of education
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods of time and typing and reading from a computer screen. The candidate must have enough mobility, including bending, reaching, and kneeling, to complete daily duties in a prompt and efficient manner and that may include lifting to thirty pounds, as necessary.
