We are currently hiring for the position of Research Account Specialist in the College of Engineering.
In this role, you will manage a group of faculty research portfolios in the College of Engineering. You will be responsible for tracking research proposal processing from submission to post-award, expediting when needed, on behalf of your principal investigator, as well as promoting team communications and assisting in resolving issues. You will prepare budget and financial projections along with coordination of reporting processes, as well as maintain fiscal and administrative controls to ensure all funds are expended in accordance with university and sponsor policies and guidelines. You will serve as partner/liaison with participants, sponsors, subcontractors, and other university offices and assist with answering key operational questions on behalf of the principal investigator. Research Account Specialist positions typically work remotely but hybrid variations exist.
