Description:
Research Administration Management Associate to assist with the grant preparation, writing, design, and execution of new research grants and research projects and the supervision of the research outcomes including complex data sets, ensure the validity and integrity of data, maintain records and generate reports for process improvement and data reporting.
This position is responsible for: independently facilitating project management and design assistance, assisting in research collaborations, participating in meetings, supervising database, and data coordinators, helping with protocol designs and submissions and overseeing the management of quality data.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, Master’s degree preferred.
- 0 years of relevant experience required, 1-2 years of relevant experience preferred.
- Requires successful completion of a background check; selected candidate may be requested to completed a pre-employment physical including a drug screen

Hiring range for this position: $43,900 - $57,750

Responsibilities:
- Manages research projects from inception to successful completion in collaboration with PI. Projects may include significant complexity and require engagement across institutions.
- Coordinate all needed resources and workloads to achieve objectives and strategies within specific time-sensitive windows.
- Manages, monitors, and reports research data to maintain quality and compliance.
- Conducts and evaluates data analysis and reviews for cohesiveness and value of data.
- Independently performs administrative and regulatory duties related to the study and participates in other protocol development activities.
- In collaboration with the principal investigator, researches, develops, and submits to appropriate agencies the study protocol.
- Works with principal investigators to analyze data and write manuscripts for publication purposes.
- Works to build consensus while managing significant partnerships with national/international consortium or program members.
- Interacts and works collaboratively with federal and/or industry sponsors and agencies for items related to the Research Center or Program.
- Develops and manages grant renewal processes and progress reports.
- Initiates and maintains positive working relationships with internal and external members.
- Manages complex projects and serves as a primary resource for issues and communications relating to the Program.
- Performs duties independently and initiates judgment in handling a variety of programmatic issues.
