Description:

The Center on Education & Training for Employment’s (CETE) Equity, Engagement, and Evaluation (EEE) Research Administration Management Analyst 3 plays a key leadership role. The position contributes to achievement of the EEE program’s translational research mission to assist organizations and communities in achieving desired outcomes efficiently and effectively.
Specifically, the EEE Research Administration Management Senior Analyst:
Independently leads multiple sponsored evaluation projects simultaneously in collaboration with EEE, CETE, OSU, and external partners. Manages a variety of activities including design and implementation of evaluation plans, project methodology, needs assessments, survey instruments, IRB applications, interventions, project reporting, and program improvement planning.
Conducts basic translation research/evaluation activities: Considers evaluation in the context of translational research; Interacts with partners to determine if evaluation is an appropriate issue resolution approach; Applies expertise in translational research concepts, principles, and processes to manage and complete project deliverables; Collaborates with CETE staff, students, and faculty to conduct evaluation and translational research projects; Utilizes qualitative and quantitative approaches; Codes and analyzes evaluation data; Conducts statistical analyses; Provides advice about statistical questions; Provides training and consultation related to evaluation, data management, and statistical techniques.
Contributes to program area development and advancement with a focus on evaluation projects, capacity building, securing sponsored projects, and strategic planning for project continuation. Disseminates research findings through publications, presentations, and other means to strengthen the evidence-base for high-quality translational research. Initiates, fosters, and maintains relationships with multiple, diverse, internal, and external stakeholder groups at all levels of organizations. Works closely with team members and CETE staff to ensure positive and productive work environment. Other duties as assigned.
Required Experience:
Experience with designing, implementing, and evaluating translational research projects and interventions required. Experience with disseminating research including writing for academic journals and conducting scholarly presentations required. 5 -6 years’ experience in project planning and management required. Experience with managing staff required. Excellent communication and writing skills required. Experience using common Microsoft Office applications required. Experience leading research studies and IRB required.
Desired Experience:
Experience developing and managing budgets for sponsored projects. Identification and application of research and evidence-based practice solutions to address community and organizational needs/interests.
Required Education
PhD Degree or equivalent educ/exp in Psychology, Quantitative Research, Evaluation and Measurement, or another related field.

Administers research as Principal Investigator and Co-Principal Investigator. Drafts project work plans and ensures quality and timely completion of project deliverables providing functional supervision to staff, faculty, and student members of assigned project teams. Conducts sponsor relations to foster quality and timely completion of project deliverables consistent with contractual requirements. Determines course corrections when appropriate. Spearheads reporting and communication with project sponsors and internal and external partners.
Contributes to budget and staffing development and management for assigned projects consistent with program requirements and contractual/budget specifications; Monitors staffing allocations consistent with budget parameters and programmatic requirements.
