Description:
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor or master’s degree in agriculture sciences (or equiv.) or environmental law
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in one of the key domains: sustainable agriculture finance, environmental law & policy analysis, carbon markets, corporate GHG accounting
- Experience working in sustainability in a corporate environment is preferred
- Strong analytical skills with acute attention to detail
- Excellent spoken and written English skills

The Team: We are looking for an agricultural specialist to join S&P Global Commodity Insights’ dynamic Agribusiness Research, to help drive Agribusiness Sustainability data and research. The Agribusiness group offers data and research solutions on major crops and food commodities, fertilizers, biofuels, crop science and animal health.
Work schedule: Full time.
The Role : We are seeking an Agricultural specialist able to develop and drive research and insights into Sustainability in Agribusiness to support our customer base on their sustainability journey. These include researching, gathering data and developing insights on sustainability trends and risks in Agribusiness, regulatory frameworks, policy, emissions, and carbon opportunities for the industry.
Responsibilities: We are searching for people who are passionate about agriculture and would like to join an international team of like-minded people, driven to deliver excellence. You are applying for a dynamic career path within a passionate and fast-paced environment. More specifically, responsibilities include:
- Apply technical agricultural knowledge to assess and optimize sustainable agricultural products for our clients.
- Conduct analyses, feasibility studies and economic impact assessments of sustainable agriculture initiatives.
- Evaluate financial and economic implications of sustainability in agriculture practices and provide key insights to clients on key performance indicators.
- Demonstrate expertise in agricultural sustainability, understanding its implications for food and agriculture companies, including best practices and innovative approaches to enhance sustainability.
- Demonstrate expertise in corporate GHG accounting and carbon markets
- Analyze and articulate how sustainable agricultural practices can drive business value, improve supply chain resilience, and meet regulatory requirements for food and agriculture companies.
- Conduct and validate the quality of data & insights.
- Engage with customers and potential customers, demonstrating expertise and acting as an ambassador for S&P Global pursuit of analytical excellence
