JOB DESCRIPTION

This job is to be performed by a research assistant responsible for conducting research on Southeast Asia’s consumer and TMT companies. The duties and responsibilities of the candidate include, but are not limited to:

• Covering consumer and TMT companies, focusing on Southeast Asia’s markets.
• Conducting macroeconomic research on Southeast Asia.
• Building and maintaining company financial models to forecast company financials and project industry dynamics.
• Writing research reports on covered companies, and consumer and TMT sector reports.
• Building relationships with listed companies’ management teams.
• Promoting CICC’s global strategy and strengthening the tie between CICC and its Southeast Asia’s clients.
• Providing differentiated insights and presenting the views to internal and external Southeast Asia’s clients in face-to-face meetings.

QUALIFICATIONS

• At least three years of experience in financial institutions, with equity research and sector coverage experience preferred.
• Excellent communication skills, interpersonal skills, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and multi-task.
• Ability to read, write English, Chinese and Bahasa.Holders of Securities Association of China (SAC) license preferred.
