Join the Corporate Planning and Performance Unit as a Research Analyst, where you will bring your high quality research and analytical skills to life. You will provide monitoring and research information, analysis and advice on Christchurch’s social, economic, natural and built environments.
Our successful candidate will participate in:
- The collection, analysis and supply of data and community feedback on city issues and resident perceptions to support Council outcomes monitoring programmes, strategies and policies
- Development of information systems that enable provision of information
- Ongoing liaison and partnerships with other Council staff, data providers, information consumers and other stakeholders
You’ll possess a post-graduate tertiary qualification in a relevant social science discipline, along with excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills. You will have experience using quantitative and qualitative research and analysis methods. Experience in analysing, contextualising and reporting data from secondary sources (such as government agencies) is important.
