Research Analyst - Digital Assets

WHAT IDEAL QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE WOULD HELP SOMEONE TO BE SUCCESSFUL?

  • Technical proficiency:
  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline such as: mathematics, science, or engineering.
  • Strong quantitative and database skills.
  • Python programming language preferred: SQL, C++, Rust, Go etc.
  • Willing to build and experiment in python or other languages to better understand a product.
  • Work experience: 6 months to 2 years of experience.
  • Research skills:
  • Willingness to learn and constant curiosity.
  • Strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to distill complex technical information into actionable insights.
  • Willingness to conducts analysis in different technologies and sectors.
  • Analytical approach to understanding spaces without clean data sets.
  • Crypto knowledge: good familiarity with crypto vs blockchain vs DLT.
  • Investment knowledge:
  • Basic knowledge of financial markets and willingness to learn venture capital investing.
  • Ability to proactively generate investment ideas.
  • Strong team player who can integrate into an existing team and processes. Effective relationship management skills and the ability to build strong relationships with external parties.
  • Ability to work independently as well as under supervision whilst you develop in the role.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbally.
  • Ability to multi-task without sacrificing quality of outcome.
