Description:
RAND is a not-for-profit research institute with over 30 years of experience in conducting policy research for governments, international organisations, research councils, charitable foundations, and other organisations. We believe that good research helps shape sound answers to pressing societal challenges, ultimately making communities safer and more secure, healthier and more prosperous in the future. RAND Europe has approximately 180 staff across offices in Cambridge, Brussels, and the Netherlands.
We wish to recruit a Research Analyst to join the health group at RAND Europe. The role is part of our expanding research group working on public health, health systems and services, and technology and innovation in health.
Our methods are typically rooted in the social sciences – members of the research group have backgrounds in health services research; health economics; epidemiology; public health; psychology; health innovation; sociology and other social science and health related disciplines.
Researchers in the group collaborate extensively with university-based researchers, such as through the Cambridge Centre for Health Services Research, a partnership between RAND Europe and the University of Cambridge (www.cchsr.phpc.cam.ac.uk) and The Healthcare Improvement Studies Institute (www.thisinstitute.cam.ac.uk), as well as through our rapid evaluation centres (DECIDE with the University of Oxford, and BRACE with the Universities of Birmingham and Cambridge).
