What You Will Do:

• Create or complete a Tech Pack based on the preferences or references provided by the brand.
• Develop detailed documentation that includes the work process, line design, patterns, and CTQ (Critical to Quality) based on the context of the article to be produced.
• Create a cost breakdown based on the tech pack and the results of the samples that have been made.
• Prepare the final tech pack based on the Purchase Order (PO) or Work Order (SPK) from sales to be handed over to the Sourcing & Preparation Merchandiser.
• Provide suggestions to assist in product development.
• Create and monitor the timeline for sample production.
• Purchase materials and accessories needed for the sample process.
• Coordinate and monitor the sample production process according to the timeline and brand requirements with the relevant parties (Sales and Sample Room).
• Perform Quality Control (QC) on the samples.
• Conduct a production risk analysis for the samples being made and those that will be produced.
• Conduct trend and analysis related to fashion market opportunities.

What You Will Need:

• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in a field relevant to the Textile or Garment industry.
• 2 years of work experience in fashion development/merchandising.
• Ability to identify requirements and source materials for sample development.
• Ability to develop product and material specifications for sample needs.
• Ability to identify product requirements.
• Ability to allocate materials to vendors.
• Ability to perform product costing.
• Ability to monitor the progress of sample making.
• Ability to identify potential production risks.
• Ability to conduct trend research, analysis, and product development.
• Ability to develop new materials.
