Position Summary:
project preparation
- Update project protocol as necessary
- Update project questionnaires as necessary
- Test process of recruitment, consent and data gathering from project participants
- Develop, test and update clinical data collection process
- Create and test data storage process
- Initiate process to enable data analyses
- Update documentation for research ethics as necessary
Project processing
- Recruit study participants
- Follow-up participants with data collection
- Provide monthly reports on recruitment and follow-up
- Initiate data analyses and preparation of reports on results
- Coordinate project with faculty staff and students and liaise with Welcome Hall Mission staff as necessary
Create and update communication tools as necessary for the project
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
- Masters degree and experience working with people/patients
- English/French bilingual spoken and written
Qualifications:
- Working with people in health care settings
- Recruiting human subjects as participants to research projects
- Writing research documents – protocols, ethics and consent forms, questionnaires, scientific manuscripts and other reports
- Online and clinical data collection
- Setting up and working with a research databank
- Quantitative data analytic skills
