Position Summary:
The Research Assistant will be responsible for supporting research activities, in particular in the area of literature mining, including assisting with grant writing, co-authoring and publishing academic papers, and providing mentorship and guidance to a PhD student. This role involves collaborating closely with the research team to advance project goals and ensuring timely completion of assigned tasks. The position requires strong academic writing skills, organizational abilities, and prior experience in research.

Knowledge of French and English: McGill University is an English-language university where day to day duties may require English communication both verbally and in writing. The level of English required for this position has been assessed at a level 4 on a scale of 0-4.
