Hiring Unit:
Department of Biochemistry - Prof. Katie Cockburn’s Lab

Position Summary:

• Conduct intravital imaging experiments on skin epidermis using established lab protocols.
• Stain and image skin epidermis using established fluorescent markers.
• Analyze and interpret imaging data.
• Assist with the preparation of manuscript figures.
• Assist with the management of laboratory mouse colonies.
• Provide guidance to graduate and undergraduate trainees.
• Contract Period: September 02, 2024 to December 20, 2024. (full-time, 35 hours weekly schedule)

Qualifications:

• Minimum Master’s degree plus at least 2 years relevant experience.
• Previous experience with timelapse or intravital imaging is preferred.

Language Requirements:

• McGill University is an English-language university where day to day duties may require English communication both verbally and in writing.
• The level of English required for this position has been assessed at a level 4 (qualifier) on a scale of 0-4.
