Description:

Copenhagen Business School invites applications for a Research Assistant with a focus on Human Capabilities in the Age of Artificial Intelligence and Learning Machinesat the Department of Digitalization. We are offering one full-time or part-time fixed-term contract position (with a duration of the employment of up to 12 months). The position is to start in January 2025 and to end in 6 months from start date (full-time, i.e. on average 37 hours per week) or 12 months (50% part-time, i.e. on average 18.5 hours per week) or pro-rata based on an agreed timeframe between 6 and 12 months. The expected starting date is early 2025.
The Department of Digitalization (DIGI) is a research and teaching department at Copenhagen Business School, committed to the study of how digital technologies are changing business and society.
We have an exciting opportunity to join Professor Anoush Margaryan at the Department of Digitalization to work on a project on ‘Human Capabilities in the Age of Artificial Intelligence and Learning Machines’.
The project is funded by the Carlsberg Foundation and led by Professor Margaryan.
The qualified candidate will ideally be based in Copenhagen and able to agree a pattern of regular remote working with Professor Margaryan.

QUALIFICATIONS

The candidate should possess a Master’s degree, or equivalent qualifications and have a professional proficiency in English (written and spoken).

The qualified candidate will:

  • Work with Professor Margaryan and her research collaborators undertaking current, comprehensive, and systematic analyses of the impact of artificial intelligence (AI) on human capabilities and skills.
  • Have the opportunity to shape innovative research and debate on AI, skills, and the future of work
  • Contribute to research articles published in high-impact, international, peer-reviewed journals

Responsibilities:

  • Search and analyse academic and grey literature to distil findings and produce summaries
  • Contribute to drafting book chapters, journal publications, and research reports
  • Support the dissemination and promotion of the project and the research outcomes via social media and WWW
  • Provide occasional research administration support to Professor Margaryan, by contributing to the planning and day-to-day administration of the research project
  • Organise and coordinate own tasks in line with agreed deliverables, targets, and timelines
