Description:
A. TECHNICAL SKILLS
- Graduate Degree in Entomology, Insect Pathology, Agricultural Science, Plant Science, Plant Pathology, Microbiology and/or a related field
- Experience in field trial related research
- A demonstrated ability to utilize aseptic technique in the laboratory using microorganisms i.e. fungi, yeast and/or bacteria
- A demonstrated ability to do careful and meticulous experimentations
- A demonstrated understanding of microbial control agents
- Superior organizational skills to use time productively, maximize efficiencies, and meet deadlines
- Proficiency in statistical data analyses using software packages
Responsibilities:
E. OTHER TASKS
- Equipment maintenance
- Inventory records of consumables
- Having knowledge of and executing statistical data analyses
- Maintaining accurate records of laboratory and field-related activities
- Generating oral and written reports as necessary to summarize field trial results and activities
- Perform other tasks as requested by supervisors
