JOB SUMMARY/BASIC FUNCTION

Assist in the design and development of immersive disaster scenarios using the DRM platform. Collaborate with the technical team to optimize virtual environments for multi-user interaction and scalability, help integrate community feedback into the design process, ensuring that the platform is user-friendly and effective, and support testing and troubleshooting to improve the platform’s functionality and performance.

REQUIRED RELEVANT EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

High School diploma or GED

PREFERRED RELEVANT EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Specific Qualifications:

• Having a strong knowledge of Unity and Python – for Metaverse Platform Implementation

THE DUTIES OF THIS POSITION INCLUDE:

• Lead efforts to promote community participation in the DRM platform.
• Organize workshops, presentations, and outreach activities.
• Develop and maintain relationships with community partners, such as local emergency services and civic organizations.
• Collect and analyze feedback from community participants to refine the metaverse platform and ensure it meets user needs.
