Description:
THE OPPORTUNITY
This newly created Research Assistant role will be responsible for the preparation of research documents, conduct quantitative data collection and analysis, perform literature search and reviews for the South West Victoria (SWV) Cancer & Exercise Project. This is a 9-Month contract working Part-Time hours (24hrs/fn) and reports to the Site Manager.

We’re looking for applicants with an undergraduate degree in fields such as health sciences, health information, public health, nursing, allied health and/or experience in assisting with planning and conducting quantitative data collection and analysis. You will have the ability to manage your workload and build professional relationships with various healthcare professionals across South West Victoria. You will also be required to independently solve problems and have great team skills.
MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS:
- Relevant undergraduate degree in health sciences, health information, public health, nursing or allied health field and/or an equivalent combination of experience and/or education and/or training in a health field.
- Experience in assisting with planning and conducting quantitative data collection and analysis.
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in MS office suite and database management.
