• Successfully completing a Certificate III in Agriculture, including attending six 1-week intensive schools at Tocal College, Paterson NSW.
• Assist with planting, weeding, and maintaining field experiments, with flexibility to travel to sites during cotton planting and harvest.
• Help with harvesting, ginning, delinting, and processing experiments at the Australian Cotton Research Institute and district sites.
• Actively participate as a team member in the CSIRO cotton breeding program, supporting various operations.
• Work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary, regional research team to support scientific research objectives.
• Communicate effectively and courteously with staff, clients, and suppliers, ensuring good business practices and CSIRO’s positive reputation.
• Other duties as directed

  Salary: AU$59k-$71k pa + up to 15.4% superannuation
  Tenure: Specified Term of 13 months, full-time
