Responsibilities:
ABOUT THIS ROLE
We are looking to recruit a Research Assistant in Water Quality Sensing on a part time basis to help deliver an award funded by the WATER4ALL Partnership co funded by Horizon Europe and the EPSRC (UKRI). The research assistant will assist with the development of Digital Tools For Sustainable Water Resources Management: Integrating Impact Of Climate Change, Land Use, And Optimised Solutions (TWIN-Waters). The successful candidate will work as part of a project team, in partnership with public and private stakeholders in the UK, Sweden and Poland to implement, demonstrate and evaluate a fluorescence-based water quality monitoring sensor technology for the detection and monitoring of microbial activity in demonstrator freshwater catchments.- This part-time role will consist of 30 days per year.
