Responsibilities:
- conducting research to create digital twins of nature-based solutions using AI models to deal with climate change requirements of built infrastructure - focus on mesoscale flood modeling
- developing new scientific approaches for AI models to create digital twins
- developing of predictive models of climate risks of built infrastructure
- creation of digital twins of structural infrastructure or technical and nature-based solutions for real use cases
- close cooperation with project partners such as IBM Research, BOKU Vienna
- supporting the implementation of nature-based solutions in infrastructure projects
- participation in project meetings, conferences, workshops and colloquia as well as in the seminars and discussions of the chair
- continuous literature research on the above-mentioned subject area
- documenting the results in the form of interim and final reports
- publishing research results at national and international conferences and in international journals
