At the Faculty of Agriculture and Environmental Science, Chair of AI for sustainable Construction, subject to allocation of funds, we are filling the following position at the earliest possible date on a temporary basis for the duration of the EU project “Nature-Demo - Nature-Based Solutions for Demonstrating Climate Critical Infrastrucure” ending on 31.10.2027:

Responsibilities:

  • conducting research to create digital twins of nature-based solutions for built infrastructure to deal with climate change conditions using AI models and demonstrators of the projekt
  • development of new scientific approaches for AI models
  • development and validation of predictive models of climate change requirements of built infrastructure
  • support in the implementation of digital twins in real pilot projects
  • close cooperation with project partners such as IBM Research, BOKU Vienna
  • participation in project meetings, conferences, workshops and colloquia as well as in the seminars and meetings of the chair
  • documentation of the results in the form of interim and final reports
  • publish research results at national and international conferences and in international journals
