WHAT YOU’LL DO
The Research Assistant (Mental Health) will work as a member of the Manna Institute and its child, adolescent, and family research program. The Manna Institute is a virtual institute dedicated to improving regional mental health and enhancing research capacity. This role is crucial as the research conducted by the child, adolescent, and family program aims to improve access to evidence-based supports, particularly digital mental health programs, across all areas of Australia. As a Research Assistant, you will play a vital part in developing project materials, delivering research projects, and producing impactful project outputs. In doing so, you will be responsible for:
- Perform day-to-day project activities and related administrative duties to ensure key project outcomes are met.
- Assist the Research Team with tasks such as literature searches, ethics approvals, regulatory documentation, data management, data analysis, and report preparation.
- Support participant recruitment, data collection, and participant communication.
- Help prepare training materials, grant applications, manuscripts, reports, and presentations. Format and proofread documents to ensure clarity and accuracy. Assist with the submission process for academic journals and conferences.
- Aid in implementing promotional activities to increase community awareness of the research, including developing and maintaining digital mental health materials, engaging on social media, and coordinating/delivering webinars and training activities.
