Description:
School of Art, Design and Media is looking for a candidate to join them as a Research Assistant.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive future research, opening to an interdisciplinary re-reading of primary historical sources
- Design and development of a metaverse user interface
- Implementing the metaverse software
Job Requirements:
- Recognised Bachelor’s degree in computer science is preferred
- Relevant experience in software engineering, website and cloud development
- Preferably with the following skillsets:
- Cloud development
- Solution architecture and account management on Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, Terraform
- Information security
- Vulnerability assessment and testing
- Web-site reliability engineering
- Kubernetes (K8s) > KubernetesGo
- Back-end development
- Go (programming language), Redis (NoSQL database), Python (programming language)
- Front-end development
- HTLM, CSS, and JavaScript
- Customer success solutions
- Customer relationship management, account management, customer retention
- Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence
- TensorFlow, Deep Learning, PyTorch
