The Institute of Pathology of the University Hospital Düsseldorf is looking for a temporary position
from 01.01.2025 until 31.08.2027 for a

Responsibilities:

• Analysis and annotation of digitized histological slides in QuPath and development of scripts for

digital image analysis

  • Isolation of DNA and RNA samples from FFPE and cryo material
  • Determination of POLEmut cases by Sanger sequencing and/or NGS analysis
  • Application of laser capture microdissection to precursor lesions.
  • Establishment of functional cell culture models for immunological and therapeutic effects in

POLEmut, POLEwt and induced POLEloss models

  • Alternatively, knowledge in the establishment and configuration of convolutional neural networks for

AI development.

  • Collaboration in biobank-related project work.Support medical students in study design and data

analysis

  • Collaboration with international partners
  • Quality control and preparation of SOPs in the laboratory
  • Basic bioinformatics data analysis of sequencing data
