Description:

POSITION SUMMARY

A Research Assistant is sought to work on a project supported by Science Foundation Ireland (SFI) on a 12-month contract, commencing January 2025. The Research Assistant will be responsible for carrying out laboratory experiments with the purpose of the function of proteoforms with alternative N-termini. The successful candidate is expected to have B.S. degree in Biochemistry, Molecular/Cell Biology or related disciplines and have hands-on experience in basic biochemical techniques, such as PCR, DNA/RNA isolation, gel electrophoresis, cell culture, microscopy etc. Good Bioinformatics skills and basic programming skills is a plus.

Post Duration: 12 Months
Salary: €31,462 - €41,443 p.a (IUA Researcher Assistant Salary Scale)
