Job Description:
Responsibilities:
- Find data on state level FDI with Europe.
- Facilitate distribution of survey and provide graphics.
- Assist with research on subnational diplomacy in Europe.
- Find data, conduct research, and assist with outreach to CASE, NIDO, Council of State Governments, Economic and Development offices to find their strategies towards trade promotion and investment.
- Specific goal for research assistant is to help with a publication and presentation to European Parliament.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
- Part-Time.
- 20 hours per week.
Salary Range:
- $17.50-$18.50 per hour.
Required Education and Experience:
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree at American University.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Knowledge of databases, Qualtrics, and subnational politics is useful.
