Research Assistant (Sussex Voices Clinic)

An exciting opportunity has arisen to work within the Sussex Voices Clinic (SVC) which offers packages of evidence-informed psychological interventions to patients distressed by hearing voices, across the lifespan and diagnoses. We wish to appoint a part-time Research Assistant to support the delivery of our interventions across our services for adults.
The post-holder will be based within clinical services across Sussex and be responsible for assessing patients and supporting them to engage with the interventions. The SVC is also a research service, so opportunities will exist to be involved with the delivery of high-quality research studies.
We would welcome applications from motivated and organised psychology graduates who wish to develop their clinical and research skills.
This permanent post is part-time and, therefore, the working days can be chosen by the individual in discussion with the Clinic lead. The key working day to be included is Monday, as this is when the weekly clinic allocations meeting held.

administration of referrals
conducting of patient assessments
collation and management of data
liaising with patients and clinicians
conducting service evaluations and delivery of high-quality research studies
supporting therapy training, supervision and therapy delivery.
Responsibilities will include the coordination of the following:
referral and therapy pathway
datasets
service evaluations
recruitment to research studies.
