Trinity College Dublin - an introduction
The post holder will be part of a multidisciplinary research team, based at St James’ Hospital in Dublin, working on studies related to interventions (drug and on-drug interventions) for Alzheimer disease and other forms of dementia. Our studies use different methods including imaging, biomarkers and neuropsychological methods to assess healthy volunteers, carers and people with lived experience.
The post-holder’s primary job will be the dissemination of research outputs of the Health Research Board funded ‘EMERALD-Lewy’ programme to a scientific and non-scientific audience. The Programme’s goal is to improve the diagnosis, management and lived experience of people with Lewy Body Dementia in Ireland. To this effect, the post holder will work with the Programme’s Knowledge Translation Team (KT Team) consisting of scientists, clinicians, artists, people with lived experience of dementia and carers to disseminate the Programme’s outputs.
