Description:
Assist with a research project that utilizes a mouse model to investigate the impact of carcinoid metastases on autonomic and vascular function. Student Research Assistant will assist with planning, preparing, and conducting experiments and analyze the data collected. Position will also include assistance with animal care.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Individuals must possess the knowledge, as well as the following skills and abilities or be able to perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation, using some other combination of skills and abilities.
1. Physiology or biochemistry background, and experience with cell culture, small animal surgery, pCR, and/or immunohistochemistry is preferred.
Required Qualifications
Students must be enrolled at COMP-Northwest and be in good academic standing.
