POSITION SUMMARY

Full time RESEARCH ASSOCIATE 1 in MICROBIOLOGY, IMMUNOLOGY & PARASITOLOGY. The School of Medicine at the Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center (LSUHSC) in New Orleans is currently accepting applications for a Research Associate 1- Full time position to work on an NIH-funded project on CRISPR Interference of essential stage-specific gene function in Chlamydia trachomatis. . The incumbent will conduct research on molecular biology and pathogenesis of Chlamydia trachomatis and should have experience with laboratory techniques, including molecular cloning, mutagenesis, protein-protein interaction analysis, transcription assays, and culture of Chlamydia.
