Description:
The postholder will be a postgraduate/post-doctoral researcher. The postholder must be able to take significant responsibility for planning and implementation of specific elements of the research activities. Banding reflects the level of autonomy, knowledge, skills, and experience needed to successfully undertake the role. The successful candidate will be able to conduct systematic literature reviews to extract pertinent information and undertake pilot/feasibility work.
The postholder will have effective communication and management skills to enable networking across the Trust and developing successful collaborators with external partners. Given the centrality of PPIE to the trial, the RA will have experience of facilitating Expert by Experience input into all aspects of our work, including data collection, analysis, and dissemination. Experience in conducting research studies and mixed methods research, including conducting interviews and coding qualitative data, is essential. The RA will need knowledge of Randomised Control Trials (RCT) and associated quantitative research methods skills.
Other activities will include data analysis, assisting with relevant systematic reviews/meta-analyses, preparing peer-reviewed publications, and contributing to innovation in dissemination of research findings.
