Description:
The Patil lab at the MRC Toxicology Unit is looking to appoint a postdoctoral researcher to join their team. We are a diverse team spanning multiple scientific disciplines, including microbiology, metabolomics, and bioinformatics.
We are looking for a microfluidics engineer to develop innovative devices that mimic spatial heterogeneity of microenvironments in the gut.
The MRC Toxicology Unit offers excellent research infrastructure and support for personal development. The candidate is required to work in a close collaboration with geneticists and microbiologists in the lab.
Candidates should have a PhD in a relevant discipline such as bioengineering and hands-on experience with culturing gut bacteria. A good publication record in peer-reviewed journals is required.
