Job Description

After your training period, you will be responsible for planning, preparing and conducting training courses, seminars and on-line training for various thermoanalytical methods, including Simultaneous Thermal Analysis (STA), Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC) and Thermogravimetric Analysis (TGA), in collaboration with colleagues from the NETZSCH Academy Department.

  • Transfer of product- and application-specific knowledge during customer trainings and demonstrations at the customer’s site or in our application laboratories in Selb, but also during internal and external seminars and webinars.
  • Support of the applications laboratory by means of customer visits and contract measurements, as needed.
  • Handling of inquiries from customers, our sales offices, and sales partners regarding use, handling and interpretation of measurement results.
  • Support of the further development of our devices by information exchange with our Customer Service and Sales.
  • Preparation of application notes and scientific publications for scientific journals.
  • Representing NETZSCH Analyzing & Testing at trade shows and conferences, occasionally giving technical presentations.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • University degree in natural science, preferably in Physics, Chemistry, Materials Science, or a comparable course of study.
  • Basic knowledge of Thermal Analysis and willingness to familiarize yourself with additional methods.
  • Impeccable and courteous behavior towards customers; very good communication and team skills.
  • Very good written and spoken German and English skills; another foreign language is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel
