WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

Salary: Compensation will be commensurate based on the selected candidate’s education and experience.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelors and 2 years of relevant professional experience

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

• Ability to keep track of large amounts of information using Excel
• Ability to maintain a professional demeanor when speaking with survey participants
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Graduate degree in science or related field
• Previous research assistant experience, including obtaining informed consent from human subjects
• Experience administering telephone surveys in a research environment
• Experience with Qualtrics for survey management
• Experience with Excel, including the creation of visualizations using Excel’s built-in functionality
• Experience with specialized software and basic PC skills
• Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative (CITI Program) certification for colleges and universities
• Completed Human Subjects training and HIPAA training

PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

• Ability to read interview scripts, record responses on paper or onto a computer
• Ability to use Excel at an intermediate level
