Description
The goal is to offer development in the clinical research program of the Urology Institute at University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center. The Urology Institute (UI) has a Research Associate (RA) position within the Department of Urology.
- The RA is expected to carry out complex research assignments focused on urological conditions.
- The research associate will contribute to the experimental design and executing designed experiments for assigned projects.
- The RA will participate in the development and implementation of new and/or revised research methodologies and techniques.
- The RA will collect, analyze, interpret, and evaluate research data.
- Other responsibilities include preparing scientific manuscripts, articles, abstracts, and research reports for publication in peer-reviewed journals.
- The RA will be expected to conduct critical analysis of research literature related to research being investigated.
- Education requirements include a Bachelors degree, fluency in English, and experience in clinical research.
- A background in urology medicine and/or urology research is preferred.
- There will be no supervisory responsibilities required in this role.
- At least 0-2 years of experience in clinical research.
- Publications in peer reviewed journals (2-3 publications) preferred.
- Good communication skills and ability to interact with diverse group of researchers.
