Description:
JOB DESCRIPTION:
To support and co-ordinate research projects and clinical trials being conducted in the Early Psychosis Intervention Programme (EPIP) and Department of Psychosis.
EDUCATIONAL AND PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- Degree holder in Psychology/ Life Sciences/ Nursing
Responsibilities:
ROLE-SPECIFIC (80%)
- Support and coordinate research projects/clinical trials
- Recruit and follow up with participants, including conducting informed consent
- Co-ordinate and liaise between study sites for research projects, including recording of minutes
- Assist and follow-up with submissions for ethics approval for research proposals
- Assist with budget, claims, and agreement preparation for research projects
- Set up and maintain research database(s) relevant to research projects
- Data collection (including biological samples) and transcription from case-records/patient interviews
- Offer basic statistical support and conduct basic statistical analyses
- Assist in the preparation of manuscripts for submission to journals
