Description:

JOB DESCRIPTION:

To support and co-ordinate research projects and clinical trials being conducted in the Early Psychosis Intervention Programme (EPIP) and Department of Psychosis.

EDUCATIONAL AND PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Degree holder in Psychology/ Life Sciences/ Nursing

Responsibilities:

ROLE-SPECIFIC (80%)

  • Support and coordinate research projects/clinical trials
  • Recruit and follow up with participants, including conducting informed consent
  • Co-ordinate and liaise between study sites for research projects, including recording of minutes
  • Assist and follow-up with submissions for ethics approval for research proposals
  • Assist with budget, claims, and agreement preparation for research projects
  • Set up and maintain research database(s) relevant to research projects
  • Data collection (including biological samples) and transcription from case-records/patient interviews
  • Offer basic statistical support and conduct basic statistical analyses
  • Assist in the preparation of manuscripts for submission to journals
