Description:
DATA MANAGEMENT
- Developing and implementing workflows, systematically ensuring research data is made Open Access by providing guidance and training on best practices for version control, storage, archiving, and retention schedules that comply with regulatory standards and funder requirements.
- Supporting researchers at the pre-award stage with checklist questions and funder requirements, advising on research data management plans, and ensuring Open Access research data adheres to funder, legal, copyright, ethical, and data protection requirements.
- Managing LSTM’s open research data archive, ensuring appropriate metadata and bibliographical standards, monitoring and reporting institutional compliance with Data Management Plans, and compiling monthly highlight reports on progress and quality reviews.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Educated to degree level, hold an equivalent qualification, or demonstrate relevant and significant experience in a similar role
- Experience leading Research Data Management within a Higher Education or Research-Intensive sector.
- Knowledge of research data management, data management plans, and requirements and issues related to the life cycle of research data.
- Experience in service planning, project management, and relationship management.
- Experience in developing strong working relationships, strategic partnerships and delivering excellent customer service for customers or colleagues
- Knowledge and behaviours that support equality, diversity and inclusive practice
