Description:

We are looking to appoint a Research Degree Student Services Administrative Assistant to join the Research Degree Student Services Team (RDSS) based within Registry Services.
We are looking to appoint a Research Degree Student Services Administrative Assistant to join the Research Degree Student Services Team (RDSS) based within Registry Services.
The RDSS Research Administrative Assistant role is a key role in providing doctorate student administration support across all University Faculties.
This is an ideal opportunity for individuals who want to take a ‘first step’ into academic administration and want to learn about all aspects of the student lifecycle. A key aspect of this role is managing Student Annual Progress Review and Progression events across all Faculties. This entails co-ordinating paperwork and meetings between students and Assessors. The ability to manage high volumes of work with attention to detail is essential
You must demonstrate the ability to prioritise workload to help meet the Team and Directorate workload requirements. You will have experience working with staff of all levels and will be required to see staff and students where necessary. You must have strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to build effective relationships.
You will also support the wider Directorate of Registry Services in achieving its vision by adhering to and upholding its aims and objectives through collaborative working, knowledge sharing and providing a high level of customer service to all stakeholders internal or external.
