Description:
The University is seeking to appoint a Research Development and Innovation Administrator in the Faculty of Science and Engineering.
The purpose of this role is to provide wide-ranging and proactive support for the Faculty’s Research Development and Innovation (RDI) Team. The successful candidate will be a key point of contact within the team and will ensure questions, issues and concerns are dealt with effectively. They will be responsible for a range of communications and administrative functions for the RDI team’s activities.
The successful candidate will have good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise work in a busy environment; excellent communication skills; the ability to identify problems and resolve issues effectively; and good computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.
This role will be based within the Research Development and Innovation team in the Faculty of Science and Engineering. The team consists of the Faculty’s Business Engagement, Research Development, Research Impact, and Internationalisation teams.
