Shift/Hours/Location:M-F, 8am-5pm, Onsite, Milwaukie, OR

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor of Science with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a laboratory setting, or Masters degree is required in engineering, chemistry or equivalent.
  • Good English written and verbal communication skills.
  • Computer literacy including ability to use software to prepare and revise reports and documents, analyze and present data.
  • Ability to understand and apply moderately complex or advanced chemical concepts in a laboratory setting.
  • Sufficient math and chemistry skills to enable calculation of dilutions, molarity, averages, standard deviations, balancing of chemical equations and other relevant mathematical manipulations to support job tasks.
  • Ability to work cooperatively and supportively with a broad range of individuals with different levels of education and experience. Exploring alternatives by means of persuasion to reach favorable outcomes in situations where decisions involve other parties.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks simultaneously with guidance on priority to meet established deadlines.
  • Demonstrated ability to:
  • Understand both internal and external customer business needs and respond accordingly; anticipating customer requirements and prioritizing customer satisfaction and service.
  • Respond positively and effectively to rapidly changing priorities and departmental needs.
  • Perform necessary tasks and work hours needed to accomplish departmental and company goals; Setting priorities and defining actions, time, and resources needed to achieve predefined goals.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in electrochemistry related fields such as electroplating is desired.
