Description:

We are delighted to be recruiting a Research Development Manager to join our Horizon Europe team.
You will be part of a team of four working on projects that span the University and all three of the Horizon Europe pillars to broaden engagement with Horizon Europe leading ultimately to a growth in our research income.
The role is varied, from horizon scanning for Horizon Europe funding opportunities and scoping projects with leading academics through to project managing large strategic bids and collaborating with academics to identify suitable HEI and non-HEI partners for consortium building.
You will have a degree or equivalent qualification and relevant research development experience at scale.
You will be a self-starter, team player and enjoy collaborative working. You will have strong facilitation skills with the flexibility to manage multiple priorities and adapt to the rapidly evolving research funding landscape.
The role is permanent (subject to funding) and opportunities to undertake the role part time or flexibly will be considered.
